The text in the back of this T-shirt is the earliest known version of the Emerald Tablet on which all later versions were based on. The text is called The Secret of Creation and the Art of Nature, also known as The Book of Causes. It was wrongly attributed to Apollonius of Tyana which was a Greek Neopythagorean philosopher from the Roman province of Cappadocia. It was later discovered that the original author of the scripture was Hermes Tristmegistus. Also known as Thoth the ancient Egyptian God of Wisdom and knowledge.

The english translation reads the following:

"Truth, no doubt, is correct.

The highest is from the lowest and the lowest is from the highest.

Working wonders from one, as everything was from one by one's design.

Its father is the sun, its mother is the moon.

It was carried in the womb of the wind, nourished by the earth.

Father of Talismans, Keeper of Wonders, Perfect in Power.

Fire turned to earth, isolating the earth from fire.

The Gentle is more Honorable than the Coarse.

Gently and wisely rising from the earth to the sky, and descending from the sky to the earth.

And in it lies the power of the highest and the lowest, For with it is the light of lights, and therefore darkness flees from it.

The power of powers, Conquering everything gentle, entering everything coarse.

In the formation of the greater world, work is formed.

This is my pride and for this reason Hermes Trismegistus was named the wisdom."
