Rediscovering the past.

Updated: May 8, 2023

The beauty behind traveling back to the past to learn about art and lost schools of thought, in my opinion, is rediscovering information that expands human nature. The same nature that brings us more questions than answers in the 21st century. I'm not talking about advances in science or medicine, but in the field of human consciousness, intelligence, and alternatives to the many hiccups we find ourselves in that prevent us from reaching our highest potential.

When stepping back in time to learn about our past, I find it easier to understand both the present and future. It's like finding a passage in time that opens up to an existing path parallel to our daily life. This is even if we exist in the future relative to where this "door" is located. This discovery could be related to the theory of non-locality, where certain teachings suggest that there is no linear timeline, only the present moment. That's why we can still learn from Ancient Greek philosophers even though more than two millennia have passed since their time on Earth. In other words, all human experience exists simultaneously at the same time. Or for example why some people have witnessed ghosts dressed in old attires, as if encountering a portal to the past.

All these thoughts along with many more are what make me very passionate of reading about the knowledge of the past. This is just like when we were kids and wanted to explore the world to see what we could discover. The advantage of embodying this childlike curiosity in the 21st century is that we have access to the largest library of knowledge called the internet. This makes adventuring for new discoveries, or rediscoveries, even more fun. Where we have to shuffle between countless sources, reliable and questionable, just as we would in an open-world video game, to figure out what information will push our understanding even further.

Truth is another fascinating topic. What is truth? Personally, this question has led me down the path of ancient cultures, the beginning of religions, and understanding of old ritual practices using natural medicines to alter human consciousness. I have also connected with the Akashic records. In the Akashic Records, all our discoveries and knowledge can be found throughout history. A wonderful adventure to read about.

Interestingly enough, I have found that throughout history, many writers, thinkers, and artists have portrayed this concept through their art. In contrast, others have implemented an opposite reality to take us further away from it. All of this led me to discover an ancient teaching called alchemy. In layman's terms, this school of thought is the ability to train our mind, body, and spirit to delve into higher states of mind and realities. This is where one can download knowledge as if receiving information from the cosmos. The Renaissance era plays a major role in history here. As it focused on the rediscovery of this school of thought. All of which originated in ancient Egypt with Hermetic philosophy.

In short, this will be my objective with this site. To compile everything I have learned into visual teachings that people can wear to ignite curiosity in themselves and those around them. And over time, I will also provide more posts delving into the topics discussed in this post and many others.

Best regards, Ignacio Garcia.
