Heraclitus of Ephesus was an ancient Greek philosopher who lived around the 5th century BCE. He is known for his contributions to metaphysics, epistemology, and ethics.

Most famous for his universal principle called "Logos". A law that governs the entirety of the universe and including nature itself. The theory says that when embodying this law, it allows humans to gain high levels of knowledge through reason and observation alone. Yet when one goes against this law, it brings caos and suffering.
